“When we met Dawn and Mick, they were on their second website and neither were working for them – they were spending ages on the phone and sending emails to try and keep their website up to date. They have a reptile house and aquarium so their stock is changing all the time, plus they have been completely renovating their premises so they have had lots of new pictures to show – but their website was not reflecting these changes.
We worked closely with Mick to come up with a design he was happy with, then him and a member of their team came to our office to learn how they could add photos and new stock to the new website themselves.

“When we first saw Darren, he was hesitant to work with us – he had been let down by a company that had promised to optimise his website but failed to deliver. We had one of our technical team speak to Darren directly to reassure him, and he went ahead with our optimisation service.
Once his website was on the first page of Google the extra orders were putting his small business under pressure, and I advised him to get a book about how to structure a growing business effectively.

“When we started working with Tony, we found a man who was frustrated with the way his business was performing. He had been in the blinds industry for most of his working life, knew the industry inside out, and was a hard working and genuinely nice guy. As we worked with him we helped him actually understand his accounts, helped him recruit a salesman and office manager (both of whom are still with him and making a difference to his business) and set up a system to measure which marketing was working for him and what wasn’t.
One of the underperforming areas we discovered was his website, which despite being high in the search engines was only bringing a handful of enquiries each month. We looked at lots of other leading industry websites and realised his website was dull, tired and lifeless.
When we redesigned the website we re-branded the business, made the design bright, interactive and eye-catching with an audio track. We added a shopping basket to sell accessories, placed informative downloads for his clients and optimised the website to appear high in the search engines for different regions and for more keywords.
